The Jackson District Missionary Baptist Association, Inc. is a long-standing coalition of Missionary Baptist churches serving the Greater Jackson community. Rooted in faith, service, and unity, the Association provides spiritual leadership, pastoral support, and coordinated outreach across its member churches. In partnership with the Healthy Harvest Network, the Jackson District is helping bring fresh, affordable produce directly to families through church-hosted markets and community food initiatives. Together, we are strengthening neighborhoods, supporting local farmers, and living out a shared mission of faith-driven service and community uplift.

The Southern Rural Black Women’s Initiative (SRBWI) provides critical resources and support to the Healthy Harvest Network (HHN) as we work to build a complete, community-rooted food chain across the Mississippi Delta and into the Jackson community. Through this partnership, SRBWI is helping expand local production, processing, distribution, and community-based food access—ensuring that Black farmers, including women farmers of the Delta and Southern Black Women in Agriculture, local food producers, and families benefit from a stronger and more equitable local food economy.
Together, SRBWI and HHN are creating a model that honors Delta traditions, strengthens Jackson neighborhoods, and ensures fresh, healthy food reaches every household.

The Itta Bena Economic & Cultural Alliance (IBECA) serves as the lead organization implementing the Healthy Harvest Network (HHN) model across the Mississippi Delta.
Rooted in community, culture, and economic renewal, IBECA oversees the development of local production sites, training centers, processing operations, and church-based market systems that bring fresh food directly to families. Through this leadership role, IBECA is building the infrastructure needed for a fully integrated Farm-to-Community program—one that strengthens small farmers, expands market access, creates jobs, and restores the Delta’s agricultural and cultural heritage. As an implementing partner, IBECA ensures that the HHN model grows with accountability, local ownership, and long-term community impact.
